CASFriends Child & Family Services

CASFriends Child and Family Services is a non-profit organization run by dedicated volunteers in the Ottawa-Gatineau region. We address an important need in our community of supporting families and children having to deal with Children's Aid Society Ottawa (CASO). Our aim is to keep families together forever. Our Organization had its first steps and first collaboration with CASO in 2009. In 2014, we are formally registered as an independent federal non-profit corporation(Corporation Number: 888551-6). Throughout the last five years, we have built strong ties and gained excellent experience with CAS of Ottawa and have established a great reputation in our community. Our Organization has many important roles. To name a few: Help Muslim families that are involved with CAS. Find Muslim foster parents for children that are under the care of CAS. Help Muslim families from the community with the process of becoming foster parents by providing them with all the information and support needed throughout the process. Collaborate with other social services and organizations. Provide workshops to the community to raise awareness and educate Muslim families about parenting system in Canada. Facebook: CASFriends
